My name is Jessica, and I am the founder of Tiaki Admin Solutions.
Over the span of five years, I built a successful business that encountered numerous challenges, providing me with invaluable learning experiences. It involved hard work, late nights, and early mornings, fuelled by enthusiasm. When we decided to hire a new employee, it was a financial stretch but necessary for growth. Upon reflection, it became evident that our needs extended beyond merely hiring a new employee. Instead, we required a service that provided both experience and efficiency, enabling us to concentrate on the growth of the business. This continued to sit in the back of my mind even after we sold the business.
On an unsuspecting day in a local flower shop I was purchasing a product that was not scanning in their point-of-sale system. The owner commented that entering the product into her system was a task on her never ending to do list. This moment resonated with me and highlighted the need to support small businesses, startups, family businesses, and sole traders by handling neglected tasks, allowing them to focus on their core activities. Thus, Tiaki Admin Solutions was established.
With over fifteen years of experience in small, family-run businesses, I have held leadership roles and worked behind the scenes in various sectors including food service, commercial property, waste management, transport, music, and retail.
